  • How long does it take to assemble the Sit High Premier Chair?
    The Sit High Premier Chair ships in three cartons. The seat back and seat bottom arrive pre-assembled from the factory. After unpacking and laying out the parts, the remaining assembly will take two people approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
  • How do you ship the chairs?
    Orders for a single or two chairs are typically shipped via UPS or FedEx Ground. Orders for three or more chairs are almost always most economically shipped via LTL Motor Freight. We always check to insure we are shipping the most economical way possible. Each chair is shipped in three cartons.
  • Do you offer international shipping?
    We have shipped Sit High Chairs worldwide. For more information on how to order and arrange international shipping, please see “Shipping” under Resources.
  • What materials are used in Sit High Chairs?
    Our chairs are crafted from Poly Lumber (a durable, weather-resistant material) or Eucalyptus Wood (a strong, sustainably sourced hardwood), both designed to withstand outdoor elements and provide long-lasting comfort. The chair frames are made of strong 6063 alloy aluminum, which offers excellent strength and corrosion resistance. The hardware used is stainless steel, ensuring durability and longevity, even in harsh outdoor conditions.
  • How do I care for my Sit High Chair?
    Poly Lumber Chairs: Sit High Poly Lumber Chairs are designed for long-lasting use with minimal maintenance. To clean, simply use hot soapy water, a soft bristle brush, and rinse with clean water. Avoid using a power washer, as it may cause damage. If you do use one, ensure to use a wide fan nozzle to prevent harm to the chair. Eucalyptus Wood Chairs: Crafted from resilient, long-lasting eucalyptus hardwood, Sit High Chairs are built to endure the elements with style. When left untreated, eucalyptus wood naturally weathers to a beautiful silver-gray patina. To maintain its original rich color and finish, simply apply a high-quality outdoor wood oil every 6 to 12 months, depending on weather exposure
  • Are Sit High Chairs weather-resistant?
    Yes, both our Poly Lumber Chairs and Eucalyptus Wood Chairs are designed to withstand outdoor conditions. However, we recommend periodic care, such as applying an outdoor wood oil to the Eucalyptus Wood, to maintain the chair's longevity and appearance.
  • Can I customize the color of the chair frame?
    Yes, we’re happy to provide a quote for a custom color for the aluminum chair frame. To get started, we’ll need two things: Powder Coat Color Code: We require either a RAL color code (RAL is a universal color code system of powder coat colors) or the proprietary color code from a specific powder coat manufacturer's chart. We must have a specific powder coat color code to proceed. Powder coat colors are not the same as PMS, RGB, Hex, and wet paint codes and we cannot match to them. Quantity of Chairs: Let us know how many chairs you’d like to have powder-coated.
  • How can I find a powder coat color code?
    If you don’t have a powder coat color code, the easiest option is to check if a RAL color code is a good match. The RAL system offers over 200 universal colors, and most powder coat manufacturers offer the full line of RAL colors. You can find color charts on most suppliers websites. We always encourage you to purchase an actual color plate sample (see #2). A great resource is crosslinkpaints.com, where you can see color options and purchase sample RAL color plates to ensure you're choosing the right shade. Alternatively, your local powder coating shop likely has sample plates available for you to view. If you'd prefer to use their services, we can ship the chair frame unpainted directly to them at no extra cost. For smaller orders, it's often more cost-effective to have the powder coating done locally.
  • Can I order replacement parts for my Sit High Chair?
    Yes! We offer replacement parts for our chairs. If you need a replacement part, please contact us at customerservice@sithigh.com with the details of your chair, and we'll assist you with your request.
  • Are discounts available for large orders?
    All of our chairs are handmade, meaning the production time for each chair is the same regardless of order size. While we are not able to offer bulk discount, ordering multiple chairs at once will provide savings on freight costs.   • What should I do if my chair is damaged during shipping?
    Our chairs are carefully packaged to prevent damage, but in the rare case that your chair arrives damaged, please contact our customer support team immediately at customerservice@sithigh.com. We’ll assist you with the replacement process and ensure the issue is resolved quickly.
  • Can I track my order?
    Yes, once your order ships, we’ll send you tracking information so you can monitor your delivery progress. Please note that UPS or FedEx do not guarantee the delivery date on Ground shipments.

ORDER PROCESSING TIME

We strive to keep our products in stock and ship within two business days (M-F) after receiving your order. If there are any exceptions, we will notify you promptly.

Orders within the USA ship from our warehouse in Waynesboro, VA via UPS, FedEx Ground, or for bulk orders, LTL Motor Freight.  Each chair is shipped in three cartons.

TRACKING

Tracking information is provided once your order ships. Please note that UPS and FedEx do not guarantee specific delivery dates for ground shipments. If you need your order to arrive by a certain date, please consider expedited shipping. Our chairs ship in three cartons and on occasion those cartons may arrive on different days.

BULK ORDERS / SHIPPING MULTIPLE CHAIRS

If ordering three or more chairs, you can typically save on freight costs by shipping via Motor Freight (LTL). Please note that someone must be present to inspect, receive, and sign for LTL deliveries while the driver is there. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We are happy to support international orders and have shipped Sit High Chairs all over the world.

While we’re a small company and don’t directly handle international shipping, many of our customers successfully work with freight forwarding companies like DHL, FedEx, UPS, and Kuehne + Nagel. These providers can manage the entire process—from picking up your order at our loading dock to delivering it right to your door.

To help you plan, just let us know the items and quantities you’re interested in, and we’ll provide an estimate of the shipment details—including package dimensions, weight, and pickup location—so your freight forwarder can give you an accurate quote.

 

Please note: international orders require advance payment via bank wire transfer, as we are unable to accept international credit cards. Customers are responsible for all shipping fees, import duties, and taxes.
